In May I traveled thru Romania enroute to Bulgaria. Late one evening I noticed a sign about a Castle. I traveled thru the defunct iron production facility and thought I was on the wrong road. I was late for entrance, but they let me in anyway. This was truly the highlight of my trip thru Romania. I will never forget the mother-daughter team in the print shop. Certainly the epitomy of elegance. Nothing scary about this place. Had I found accomodations I would have stayed another day.

There is nothing scary about Hunedoara Castle. I was born in Hunedoara and I used to play around the castle all the time.Seeing that the Hunedoara Castle is on top ten scariest place is absolutely ridiculous.It is worth visiting the castle though. It’s beautiful. Sorry to disappoint you!
BTW… the show is done only just for ratings, nothing else. They don’t care about the facts at all.

I have been curious about Hunedoara Castle ever since I saw an episode of “Scariest Places On Earth”. While I must admit that the architecture of the castle is impressive, I’d be a little wary about going there at night.

Tepes has never been at Hunedoara Castle. This Castle is beautifull even since him. Thank you!
And Hunyadi and his son was mooore important fot Transilvania than some Tepes

Yesterday I saw the episode of ‘The Scariest Places on Earth,’ featuring Hunedoara Castle. I was wondering how much of the ‘hauntings’ in this castle surrounding dracula are factual. I definitely do believe in hauntings, spirits, ghosts and the like, as I myself have experienced such phenomena.
